Tonight's the Night!

Tonight is gonna be a benchmark. Jess's 1st night on her NEW Air Spring Liberty Mattress paid for BY HERSELF. This mattress is my 1st BIIIG purchase since I blew $400 bucks on a 5.1 Surround Sound System my sophomore year in college. It is an important benchmark cuz daddy didn't buy it. This whole being independent stuff sucks...but in a way, incredibly gratifying...but it also makes me think.... does independent mean being lonely too? A few random thoughts for the day...

1. The Mattress is great....and the Sit'n'Sleep man threw in 2 free pillows too! Now i have a combined total of 8 pillows in my room--- 4 are on my bed, 4 sit huddled on the futon in my room. Which brings me to say, aren't boys forever curious to why girls have so many pillows?!?!

2. BBMAK. iTunes. I loaded all the mp3s and as I scroll up and down the library, I see the songs that make up the last 4 years of my life. It's funny how hearing a song or seeing a band's name can conjure up hysterical memories that have you smiling or giggling or laughing just thinkin' about it. BBMAK is significant because that's one of the few concerts I went to in college... I went with Mell and Cin.... Mell and Cin sqqqqqquuueeeezed there way up to the front of the stage with Tine and I were all alone in the back. Thanks, guys! Anyways, Howie from BSB was there that nite as well..and I LOVE BBMAK.. I'm listening to them right now and their songs are sooo sweeet..and I'm soo cheesy to like them.. I'm such a girl, I know. I love it!

3. Where are the warm bodies when you need them? With the recent drop in temperature....a boy's warm company is a high commodity and heavily sought after. A boy's warm company is irreplaceble. As rare as these are in my life... when it is available... I wallow in it like a fat kid in a candy store. Boys.. don't get big heads, btw. Yall are only good for so many things...and not so much for many more. Har har har.

4. Sagitarius' like to help people who are willin to listen and change. This is a train I've realized I carry after careful consultation with a friend. We like underachievers we want to be more..and we make it happen. Is this a good trait to have? Who knows... in the end.. as long as our heart is in the right place..and nobody gets hurt, ya? =/

5. Sometimes you gotta give people THE TEST. A Test. To see if they're solid for you and know why your friendship/relationship exists.....after 5 years...harhar.

6. Too much loneliness is not a good place to be. If there was only more company out there you wanted and wanted you back...life just might be a tad easier. In life... all you can do is show up.... and hope the other person shows up, too.

7. Plastic Garment Bag Ponchos --- The Next Big Thing! With the recent horrid thunderstorms and me being unprepared for the showers... I had to leave work last nite with no umbrella. No jacket. In 40ish degree wind. As savvy as I am, I made a plastic garment bag poncho for my associate so she wouldn't be drenched walkin to her car. As for myself, I just braved it... but you heard it here first.... PLASTIC GARMENT BAG PONCHOS--- appearing at a runway near you soon.

7. US Section of the Day:Jennifer Garner might just be happy with Ben Affleck as heartbroken as I am still...since Gartan broke up. I love Vartan forever. But Bennifer II are cute...I admit. But doesn't he have a hairy back? Eh, that's what wax is for.
