I HEART NORCAL
... well not ALL of it but ALOT of it.
uscjessc: i miss norcal.
uscjessc: i was just thinkin bout the streets of sf
uscjessc: how i would love to shimmy up the block and eat at a yummy place with no fuss..... just the headache of finding parking.
melliessa: that's why you find a place that has good walkable stuff
in a nutshell, in my head, i'm thinking of how fun it was this past weekend to play in sf. The streets are sooo low maint. People chillin, people living. Don't get me wrong, I got lotsa love for LA, but when is it gonna be "enough" for jess where I'll be ready to pick up and say, "So long! It's been real!"?!??!
6 months? After January? Who's gonna cover the rent here? Am I gonna have to find someone to fill in? Ugh. The headache.

You Know You're On A Road Trip to and fro SF with Jess and Kat When....
1. Cheetos and Diet Coke are the chosen Energy Snacks - a bag of CRUNCHY cheeddary cheetos... no puffs, no flamin' hot, no natural...just pure CHEEETOS FINGA PLEASURE! And 2 ice cold DC's! *chug chug*
2. Kat bitch*s that the Jess selected music is tooo slow to drive to in which we decided, music is always driver's choice. In which Kat selects a NATALIE MERCHANT song. She's infamous for non-slow music right? Puh-lease.
3. The weekend is packed with a million planned events: i.e. Fri-Sat --->arrive, hit the mall, hit dinner with dad, hit the graduation mass, hit the bar/louge in SF to meet up with our PEEEEEEPPPS, hit up the pizza place next door to alpha bar. sleep. baby shower. cook. union street street fair (i.e. eat and DRINK @ MORE bars), meet up friends for TAPAS in SF, iron dad's clothes for graduation. sleep. graduation. lunch. drive back to la. Ok. nuff of the play-by-play.
4. The highlights of the trip involve FOOD. FOOD. and possibly more FOOD.
5. You make it a purpose to meet up with your own best friends and make all the best friends of the Chen's hangout together.
6. Get honks from truckers on the 5. =) Allllways a pleasure.

Have You Missed Me Yet?
I've been busy. New store. New staff. New challenges. It's stressful, pressure filled...but I'm rollin' with the punches and succeeeded at a relatively decent level. Anyways, I've been MIA from the blogspot lately, mainly because I've been busy, uninspired, stressed, you know the drill.
Anyways, I hope you missed me while I was on sabatical, but since I read Mell's most recent entry, http://mchsieh.blogspot.com, shout out the M, I've been reminded that I have to speak out for our type. What type is that you ask? The people who don't date much... not cuz we're A. too picky B. tooo picky C. too selective D. looking for Mr. Perfect or Mr. Rest-of-our-life. Get it straight! Being selective and having standards is only a smidge of why some people aren't ACTIVE daters. We'd rather not spend time with people who can't even stimulate our intellectual minds!!! You're "hotness" ... $$$....education....resume......just may NOT be enough to keep us interested.
Ok, anyways, the answer is that some people aren't activer daters because the people they're interested in don't always share the mutual interest back and there's nothing they can do about it. And of course vice versa. As long as we're giving it a shot...showing a hint of interest, showing a little bit of our tailfeathers, we can't say we didn't try...the rest is left up to old-fashion boy-asking-girl-out, etc. etc. Ok, that's all. hehehe.
Keepin RTB'ing, ladies. Show your tailfeather a lil bit so you can say you tried! =)
