LOLA: Lust Often..Love ALways. Or at least Love More.

As I jump on the wagon of New Year's Rez's, my biggest goal is to Lust more often and Love even more. Being as mellow-headed as I am, I'm equally mellow-hearted. No giant proclaimations of love, no acts of lovelorn stupidity, no desperate moments of begging for anything or anyone -- I'm a lady of few relationships, if any, and a lady of many great friends and travel'd moments.

Looking into the rear-view mirror or '05, I can't say it hasn't been an incredibly positive year. With a quick re-cap, I traveled internationally 2 times - going ot Thailand, Taiwan, London(just around the airport) and Italy. I went on a few mini-vaycay's to San Diego and Arizona while dragging along a few great friends, my lil brother bee graduated from high school(he's sooOoO grown-up!), lil sister Wei graduated from UCLA and we got to let her go explore the world of Italy on her own for 4 months(impresssive!!! I'm still amazed she came back alive), workwise - I got promoted 3 times in the course of 7 months, socially - I met many new friends though no loves of my life, months, weeks, or days. At least no loves/lusts that weren't already attached to somebody already!

So basically, the only thing more or less missing is me being more passionate about even more things in life and being more passionate about worlds I don't even know yet. I watched Mad Hot Ballroom last week with my family and boy was it a funny documentary of 5th grade New York students being part of a program (learning ballroom dancing) to keep their time/interests off of the streets. Seeing these cute kids learn how to dance and become so passionate and skilled at it made me want to start learning ballroom dance. So that's something I definitely would love to learn. There have been a few things here and there that I've wanted to do for a long time but because my schedule is a lil all over the place, I haven't had a chance. But this year - I promise you, I will learn a few more new activities/pasttimes/interests and I'll show the world a lil more love while doing that. As the great Brad Pitt says, "You make what you want happen." hehe.
