Sometimes I Wonder.....

Okay. I'm back in the Bay. Back as in.. I live here now. I pay my EXPENSIVE rent. I drive 23 miles to work 5 days a week. Not including the trip back. That I get to enjoy all the food in the Bay I never knew existed. Restart friendships that had been on hold. Finding another part of myself that I have yet to fully discover. As I've been back here for a lil over a month... a month and 5 days to be exact, a $350 Uhaul later, a $200 bedframe later, a $350 couch later, many trips to Bed Bath and Beyond later, trips to Target later, digging myself out of a small but larger April credit card bill, I'm a Norcal Gal. A couple inspirations along the road these past few weeks have got me thinking so here is my Sometimes I Wonder List.... enjoy.

Sometimes I wonder...
1. If Summer of Yes will take off for me this summer. It has started. So we'll see how it goes.
2. RTB's true mantra will be practiced in full force before I turn 25. RTB..risk taking behavior, for you newbies.
3. If traveling down the GOOD ROAD is always going to feel semi-lonely since most people have boned out and gone run down other roads.
4. If a girl can really have it all
5. Why 95% of us are programmed to self-sabotage much of the good we have in our lives. I'm guilty. I just haven't been guilty of it in a reallllllllllllllllllllllllllllllly long time, not that I've really had a chance to, or maybe it's the wrong "kind" of boys that even have the balls to approach.
6. If I'll learn the in's and out's of the Best of Food in SF in the way I know LA and how long it will take me to be In-The-Know.
7. Why cookware is sooo expensive. I know it's surgical grade stainless steel, but seriously!
8. Why Asians can't be equipped with the right enzyme to breakdown calcium. I've had enough nail splitting. I'm OVER it.
9. What stops true happiness from happening to people? Is it themselves? Fate? Life?
10. Why I've loved ALIAS so much over the past 5 seasons. Oh yes -2 words. Michael Vartan. I Lurrrrve you.
11. Why it's so hard for me to find a good, inexpensive back rub. Oh yes...I remember! No current bf to ask this from.
12. How much longer does a girl have to wait for a decent one to cross paths with.
13. If Bush really thinks his new Immigration plans are realllly gonna be a hit. Or is he kidding himself. We're fighting war. And he's fighting those that clean his toilet.
14. Why SAN TUNG chickens wings, their MUSHU PORK with homemade wrappers with a ice cold TSINGTAO helps me get over any sad feelings I ever have.
16. Why oyster shooters are SOOO GOOD and French Macarons from MIETTE Bakery @ the Ferry Bldg. in SF are SO damn good! (Shooters cannot be found @ Miette, mind you.)
15. Why you aren't here...now. You stands for my friends in LA who I miss dearly. Family members past and present. And the non-existant you who is out there that I haven't met but can't wait to meet.
